Birth Network of WNC quarterly meeting Tuesday March 9th at 7pm.

Interested in promoting normal birth and breastfeeding? Meeting like minded people? Organizing fabulous community events?
Join us for our next meeting ofThe WNC Birth Network!
The Birth Network is thrilled to be meeting at the Women's Wellness and Educ  Center This meeting will be devoted to planning ourspring and summer events including  free showings of the Orgasmic Birth film.Join Trish Beckman and other local women for this fun evening! Membership not required, everyone encouraged to come and bring your babies!

Community Pediatric Acupuncture Clinic Mondays 9am-4pm
Individual treatments in a group setting, very child-friendly, painless and fun. For preventative care and acute treatment of problems. For children age newborn to 12 yrs.
Cost: $25 for new patients, $20 for follow-up treatments

A Special Message from Natalie:
I am so thankful for my patients in 2009 and want to make acupuncture more affordable for more people....stress is the number one cause of illness, and I want to help prevent that. so I am offering 30 minute stress reduction treatments for $30.
 
 
 
Empowered Birthing Childbirth Education Classes:
8 hours of  interactive classes offered mid-week or weekend series . The focus is on natural childbirth, positions for comfort, and hands-on massage techniques for labor. VBACs welcome. Breastfeeding and soothing a fussy baby incorporated into the class. Classes are held at the Women's Wellness and Education Center, 24 Arlington Street Asheville. Cost is $175 per series.

Mamatime mother-baby groups
New group forming now and will begin Wednesday, April 7th 2010; 10 a.m. to 12: noon


Meet weekly for twelve weeks with 10-12 other moms and babies. Baby must be under four months to start group.
New group forming now. Discuss pertinent topics, grow friendship and confidence and support!

Whole Foods Cooking Class
A Recipe for Healthy Living! RSVP today for the next Eat Well, Live Well Cooking Class with Wendy Tran, CHC . The theme changes monthly, so that we may incorporate as many local and seasonally grown foods as possible into the menu. These monthly cooking classes will provide you, as well as your friends and family, with an array of quick, easy, wholesome meals for the years to come. Classes start at 6:30pm are approximately 90 minutes and include hearty samplings. I look forward to seeing you at our next class!
