Nancy is a
Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker, Certified in Pre- and Peri-Natal Massage including Pregnancy
Massage, Labor Massage and Support, Postpartum Massage, Reflexology for
Pregnancy and Childbirth , Related Cautions and Contraindications.
Nancy’s deepest desire is
to live an authentic and fulfilled life and to support others in living theirs. Whether the client is a young mother to
be, a proud new father, a busy stressed professional, or a practicing athlete
she finds the connection with the client’s wish
to grow and be
fulfilled; and with loving care
and presence brings the depth of her expertise and life experience to this practice.
Nancy has been working
professionally with the human body for thirty years, starting with a 17-year career
working as a Perfusionist with an
open-heart surgical team in Florida. In 1996 she explored alternative methods of healing
and worked with a tool called the Trinity Table, which assisted people in
reaching a deep meditative state quickly, simply by using motion and
sound. She learned to work with
energy and sound quite naturally, and assisted participants with emotional and
physical releases. As she
recognized the value of deep relaxation and its potential for healing Nancy
began to pursue her most recent career path in Massage Therapy.
Nancy is a long-term
practitioner of meditation and has been participating in ongoing work with her
fellows, traveling to various areas of the country to do intensive inner work. She is also an avid practitioner of Tae
Kwon Do and has developed a specialized massage for fellow martial artists
incorporating side-lying techniques from her Pregnancy Massage training. “Getting
